“Pain makes man think. Thought makes man wise. Wisdom makes life endurable.”
My Thoughts:
After reading this, does it seems to you that pain is good. Sometimes I think it is. After all, many a times, you learn new things only if you learn form your mistakes.

So the next time you have a painful experience, you know that there would be a happy ending if you have a thought on it.

“More life may trickle out of men through thought than a gaping wound”
My Thoughts:
Trickling blood is an indication of life. But those people who cannot think are virtually lifeless.

They cannot think for their life. Your thoughts are great indication of your life than a trickling blood.

“You are not responsible for what people think about you. But you are responsible for what you give them to think about you.”
--Stanley Ferrard
 My Thoughts:
Of course you don’t have control over people’s mind and thoughts. Nor can you stop them from thinking. But like process needs an input to get an output, like wise, the thought process also needs an input to give an output - the better the input, the better the output.

And this is now in your hands that you feed people with good input. And the input here is your actions. The better your actions are, the better people would think about you.

“Accept your genius and say what you think”
My Thoughts:
There is an old Joke, rather a story in which two weavers were presented in front of a king. They said to the king that they are not ordinary weavers. They are weaving a cloth which cannot be seen by a fool. And they present the cloth to the king. When the king tries to look at it, he cannot see the cloth. But the king doesn’t say this because he doesn’t want himself to be called as a fool.

The king asks his ministers about the cloth, none of them can see it but they don’t tell this only because they don’t want themselves to be called as fools. Soon the news of this special cloth spreads across the whole kingdom. The king announces that he would wear a dress made from this cloth and appear in front of his kingdom.

The day came, everyone gathered to see the special dress. The king appeared in front of the crowd. But nobody could see the dress. Even though nobody could see the dress, they did not say this they feared to be called as fools. But suddenly there was a voice from the crowd, it was a small boy. He was asking why the king was standing naked.

Yes, you guessed this right…the weavers had fooled the King. The Moral of the story is – say whatever comes in your mind and accept what you are.

"Our character is what we do when we think no one is looking."
My Thoughts:
To the world you may be a honest person. Many trust you only because you are a good person. But they all do this because you appear to be that.

But thats not what is called character. Character is what you think about yourself, how much do you value yourself. Thats your true value, thats your true character.

"You can kill a man but you can't kill an idea."

My Thoughts:
If you look back in history, you will find that many great people have been assassinated, murdered and killed. The murderers were successful in killing that person, but they never succeeded in killing the Ideas, values and thoughts of that person.

This is what the above quote (I think) means. Let me know about your thoughts on this.
