My Thoughts:
One remarkable thing about this quote is that it tells you to your best. It tells you to do the best of your skills.

Make all you can from all the opportunities that come your way. Save all you can for the betterment of yourself and the society. And Give away all you can for the best of this world. This is what I understand….what say you…?

Bone for Charity

My Thoughts:
Here Jack London is not trying to change the definition of Charity. Instead he tries to rectify our most common behavior.

And this behavior is only to give away only the excess we have. We would share something only when the “Juice overflows the Bottle.” I do agree that such a sharing is good, but when you share your stuff when you are in the same need as the receiver is……you have reached the peak of charity, a great human gesture of kindness.
