My Thoughts:
Have you ever been to a Zoo…? Now you are thinking, what a stupid Question! OK then, another question….In the Zoo have you observed the Elephant tied with a chain? If you could remember, the chain which it is tied to seems too thin to tie a huge animal like an Elephant. But it works, the Elephant never breaks it. Do you know why the Elephant is never able to break the chain? Now it seems I am making sense…..The reason people say is when the Elephant is small, it is tied to a stronger chain which it cannot break. As the Elephant grows up it starts developing the Psychology that the chain which is tied to is strong enough that he would not be able to break. And hence, even if the grown up Elephant has the strength to break the chain…it never tries!!
This is exactly with us, Humans. We are born to conquer the world, but somehow as we grow up the thought that “I won’t able to do this” start becoming our mentality. The above quote state how important is to nurture your child with the correct mentality and “Yes, I can do it” kind of attitude.
