Quote & Thought for the Day -- Saturday, 11 Oct '08

“The only time you don't fail is the last time you try anything - and it works.”
My Thoughts:
In my previous post, I had said that failure is only a station on the way to success. But most people take that as their destination.

So the next time you fail, think that you have only moved to the next station still closer to success.
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Friday, 10 Oct '08

“There are two ways to spread happiness; either be the light who shines it or be the mirror who reflects it.”
My Thoughts:
Happiness and sorrow, both are contagious. You look at a person and give him a smile, and you get a wonderful smile in return. Same is with sadness and anger.

However in the above quote, spreading happiness is divided into two ways. Either you create ways to make yourself and others happy. Or else you can choose to share the happiness you received with others. And both the ways work really well.
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Thursday, 9 Oct '08

“I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.”
My Thoughts:
Failure is only a station on the journey towards success. But most people think that they have reached their destination and leave the train of trying.

I have been telling this in my previous posts that it is not a problem if you fail. But the most important thing is that you are trying.
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Wednesday, 8 Oct '08

“The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.”
My Thoughts:
A mistake is not a mistake if you take something out of it. Each mistake has some learning into it. All you have to do is find that learning.

So the next time you make a mistake, you have nothing to regret if you had learned something out of it.
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Tuesday, 7 Oct '08
“Those who stand for nothing fall for anything.”
My Thoughts:
If I am not supporting something, then there are chances that I may be carried away by every second thing that come across.

So support what is truth!

Quote & Thought for the Day -- Monday, 6 Oct '08
“In peace, as a wise man, he should make suitable preparation for war.”
My Thoughts:
We all must have heard the story of The Ant and The Grasshopper. The Ant works in the summer and collects food for winter where as the Grasshopper dances and sings all summer until it has no food to eat for winter.

The ant acted wisely, and prepared for the tough time. There is a great learning that comes from the story, which is in short taught in the military training that –“the more you sweat in war time, the less you bleed during the war time.”
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Sunday, 5 Oct '08

“If wrinkles must be written upon our brows, let them not be written upon the heart. The spirit should not grow old.”
My Thoughts:
You can control you age…you can stop growing older. Yes, you read it correctly. I am not talking about your biological age, but your spiritual age…..the age that really matters.

But of course, I don’t say that you should stop learning. No, all it is said is that you should be younger at heart.
