Quote & Thought for the Day -- Saturday, 4 Oct '08

"The only tyrant I accept in this world is the still voice within."
My Thoughts:
We all must have experience this at some or the other time in Life that whenever we do something wrong or something not good for yourself, you hear a voice from your heart. Most people also called this Gut feeling.

Whatever this is but, I believe, it is certainly guidance from Allah Almighty. Most of people find obeying the “worldly” dictators much easier than the internal one. But Great men like Mahatma Gandhi choose the otherwise. And this take a lot of courage.

“The leader of genius must have the ability to make different opponents appear as if they belonged to one category.”
My Thoughts:
Hitler though was a cruel man, but was a genius in his own way. If you look at his life, he had overcome lots of hurdles, lots of hardships. He showed the world what an individual can do if he is determined with his intentions.

And it is the ability of the genius like him to make his style fit all his endeavors. To make all his opponents appear as if he had encountered before and can overcome them. We are afraid of new things, if not afraid then a little hesitant. But only a genius….or rather a Leader of genius that has the ability to make his new endeavors look as if he has be familiar with it.
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Thursday, 2 Oct '08

"Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."
My Thoughts:
We know the story of Thomas Edison….Despite of being not able to attend school like a normal child; he succeeded like no other person in Life. It is said that he tried at least a 10,000 times before he successfully invented the light Bulb.

He accomplished this seemingly impossible task only because of he had a dream and strong belief in himself. And if you look at the history, you would certainly find similar stories of Great Men accomplishing seemingly impossible task. If you have a dream, then have a strong belief in yourself and see how it works.
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Wednesday, 1 Oct '08

"Advance, and never halt, for advancing is perfection. Advance and do not fear the thorns in the path, for they draw only corrupt blood."
My Thoughts:
Another Jewel from Khalil Gibran…..this always gives us the courage when we are stuck with something. We had seen in the previous quote that it is no matter of worry if you are advancing slowly, but you have to make sure that you never halt.

Same thing gets highlighted in this quote. We many a times worry about the pains and trials that crosses our path, but bear one thing in mind, these trails are only making you near perfect….Believe me!
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Tuesday, 30 Sept '08

"To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe."
My Thoughts:
We are always taught that to achieve something, we have to act and plan a lot before we can act. But this is only half the picture if you are trying to do something great.

To achieve something great first you have to dream Big and then act. And even before you can act, you have to have belief in yourself that whatever you have planned, you will achieve. So folks, keep faith in yourself and keep dreaming big to achieve something Big.
Quote & Thought for the Day -- Monday, 29 Sept '08

"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."
My Thoughts:
I remember, My Teacher Prof. Bhavesh used to say us “Prepare for the worst so that you perform the best.” Of course, this has little connection with the above quote….but one thing that’s common is aiming high.

If you prepare yourself to move towards new heights, plan to achieve new goals then even if you miss to achieve what you had aimed, you would still land in a place which is better than what you are in now.

“A handful of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains.”
--Dutch Proverb

My Thoughts:
I have lots of complex thoughts getting in my mind when I write this. But I could not write much….until I patiently waited for the right thing to come out of my brain.

If you would have measured, in whatever ways you can, you would have realized that Patience is mightier than the Brain.
